1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the website oemapping.com, purchasing products, or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or services. These Terms apply to all visitors, customers, and others who access or use the site.

2. Products and Services

Optimum Engine Mapping offers ECU hardware sales and professional ECU calibration services. By placing an order or engaging a service, you agree to the following:

• All product prices are listed in USD and are subject to change without notice.
• Hardware orders are fulfilled through Shopify and subject to Shopify's checkout terms.
• Lead times for hardware (typically 2–3 weeks from manufacturer) are estimates and not guaranteed.
• Calibration services are performed remotely unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• You are responsible for providing accurate vehicle and ECU information for calibration services.

3. All Sales Final — No Returns or Refunds

All sales are final. Optimum Engine Mapping does not accept returns or issue refunds on any hardware products or calibration services. Once an order is placed and payment is processed, the transaction is complete and non-reversible. This policy applies to all products including ECUs, accessories, PnP kits, and all calibration or remote tuning services.

If you receive a product that is defective or was shipped in error, please contact us within 7 days of receipt and we will work directly with the manufacturer to resolve the issue under the applicable manufacturer warranty. Warranty claims do not constitute a return or refund and are handled on a case-by-case basis.

4. Limitation of Liability

ECU calibration and motorsport hardware modifications carry inherent risks. By engaging our services, you acknowledge that you assume all risks associated with the use of modified or calibrated engine management systems. Optimum Engine Mapping shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services, including but not limited to engine damage, vehicle damage, or personal injury. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.

5. Intellectual Property

All calibration files, maps, strategies, and associated data created by Optimum Engine Mapping remain the intellectual property of Optimum Engine Mapping unless otherwise agreed in writing. You may not copy, distribute, reverse-engineer, or sell calibration files without our express written consent. The Optimum Engine Mapping name, logo, and branding are proprietary and may not be used without permission.

6. Authorized Dealer Disclaimer

Optimum Engine Mapping is an authorized dealer for Syvecs, MoTeC, Life Racing, and EcuTek. Product warranties are governed by the respective manufacturer's warranty terms. We do not provide additional warranties beyond those offered by the manufacturer. Contact us for warranty claims and we will facilitate the process with the manufacturer.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Deschutes County, Oregon.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
